Reaching for a silent signal - 2020-2024

2024 Aluminum, lace suit, metal parts, hammer paint and aluminum spirals.

"Reaching for a silent signal" is a project that has started in 2020 as a short performance in a suit of lace. I've worn this suit as an action to create the highest possible contrast with the village where the performance has happened, my birthplace Mariënberg. Now this project has reached a next step which is a sculpture that acts as the stand for the lace suit. This new step of this project has been commissioned by Museum de Fundatie Kasteel Nijenhuis.
